The mentors and more than 30 singers from the singing competition The Voice of China will gather in Haitan Wan, Sanya, for the first The Voice of China beach music festival from November 23 to 25.
Jointly produced by the Sanya government and the competition’s production company, Star China Media (SCM), the Sanya beach music festival intends to become one of the greatest musical events, stretching its influence both domestically and internationally. It is a cultural branding activity seeking to develop cultural industries and Sanya’s reputation. The first stage of the event will be continuously held for five years with different themes each year.
For the very first year, the upcoming festival will welcome the hit, The Voice of China, which led in nationwide ratings. At the same time, stars from Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and Western countries will perform at the three-day-two-night music carnival. The audience can experience different types of music in six performance zones, such as pop, jazz, electronic and folk music.
The Sanya international beach music festival hopes to become an effective way to spread the positive energy of Sanya and make music the city’s new calling card.
