The seven-day Fourth Chengdu International Digital Entertainment Week left its curtain in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province, on Monday.

Sponsored by the Chengdu municipal government, the grand meeting with electronic information forums and consuming carnivals has drawn top IT enterprises such as Lenevo, Intel, LG, Compal and IT talents.

At its opening ceremony, the China IT Market Chengdu Index was published. The index, the first in West China, involves prices, sales and product prospects in the local IT market.

LG CNS China, a subsidiary of LG, announced that it had chosen Wuhou district of Chengdu as its operation center in West China. The center would deal with the smart city program.
