IKEA comes to Shenyang

IKEA, the world's biggest household goods retailer, has established its first experience center in Shenyang, Liaoning province. The center includes three parts in their typical Swedish style including the IKEA sample room and membership registration zone. The experience center will stay open until May ahead of the main store opening.

The experience center is a warm-up before IKEA opens its Shenyang branch. The branch with 116,400 square meters will be the biggest one in Asia and will open in the middle of 2010.

"The IKEA experience center in Shenyang is a heartwarming present from IKEA faculties to Shenyang citizens. Home plays an important role in everyone's mind so that making home better is even more our wishes," said Qiu Zhichen, general manager of IKEA Shenyang branch, "we believe that the biggest IKEA Shenyang store in Asia appearing in the next year will bring more comfortable home and life experience for Shenyang citizens."
