What is going wrong with Chinese higher education?

I am a medical student in China, on my final year now. University studies in china really need a makeover, I feel that all these institutions just brain wash the students and make them act like robots, the same for foreign students. There is no place for critical skills, creative learning or other skills that any other university would provide.
