Will e-books replace paper books?

According to a recent study at Norway's Stavanger University e-book readers showed lower retention rates of information than readers of books. There's a full Europe-wide study underway but as yet no information on the results. I use both and prefer books for serious reading. Retention I feel is slightly better in my case with paper than electronic media but not by much.
