The birth rate in my country has fallen to one of the lowest in the developed world, at 1.19 children per woman in 2014, despite that, the government has carried out more 100 measures to encourage its parents to have more babies, including cash gifts and incentives offered to staff who have more than one child. South Korean experts said the government should focus more on women in workplaces and let them be more confident to have more babies. Long working times and irregular working habits are blamed for the low fertility rate among working women.
