When I first visited China in 2007, I thought there would be lots of poor people dressed shabbily riding bicycles all over the place. Instead, I've met Chinese entrepreneurs who wear the latest European fashions and gold Rolexes and drive BMWs, Mercedes-Benz, Audis and Bentleys. Over the past five years, I've visited Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an, Dalian, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hainan, Xiamen and Quanzhou. What impressed me most was how different China was from the stereotypes that the world has of it.
