Photos offer sneak peek of Mid-Autumn Lantern Festival
(chinadaily.com.cn)The 2017 Cross-Straits Mid-Autumn Lantern Festival is set to begin in Zhouzhuang, a famous water town in East China's Jiangsu province, on Wednesday.
It is the first time that Zhouzhuang has hosted the grand event.
The festival will be held every evening in the water town until Oct 8, the organizers announced at a press conference on Sept 15.
The festival will be composed of four different themed lantern areas: The "Kunshan Impression" Zone, "Taiwan Flavor" Zone, "Zhouzhuang Story" Zone and "Blessing China" Zone.
