A comprehensive bonded zone, approved by the State Council, refers to a special supervisory zone of a port or harbor district.
It functions as a bonded port, involving port operations, bonded processing, logistics, import and export trade, international procurement, distribution, delivery, transit, after-sale services, financial services and scientific R&D.
This type of zone is the most open in China and enjoys enormous preferential policies.
