After running successfully for two sessions, the matchmaking event for projects initiated by highly talented individuals will return at the 19th China International Fair for Investment & Trade in Xiamen, Fujian province Sept 8 -11.

Dubbed the Platform for Cooperation of Talent and Capital, the event will integrate product exhibitions, brand promotions, recruitment sessions, and projects and technology presentations. Winning projects of the Xiamen section of the China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition will be presented during the event this year, which will see participation from more companies, financers, incubators, and academics.

Budding talents with various specialties will be introduced to the participants at the event. Information on the latest policy changes, emerging business models and newly founded investment funds will be announced too.

An online platform will be completed for use on a regular basis. The online portal will showcase product innovations and start-up projects, advertise job offers, and arrange online dialogues between financers, dealers and patent holders.

The 600 square meters off-line exhibition space will be equipped with augmented reality technology, virtual reality technology, facial recognition devices to better show-off the capabilities of smart robots, unmanned aerial vehicles and other advanced technological developments.

Other than advanced manufacturing, the event will also allocate adequate resources to exhibiting the industries of aviation maintenance, Internet technology, renewable energy and media.
