Baozhuyu Islet

Three uninhabited islands in Xiamen, including Huoshaoyu Islet, Baozhuyu Islet, and Dayu Islet, welcomed 30 visitors on November 9th.

As part of the 2014 International Ocean Week, the activity enabled the residents to visit the 3 islands in one day. During the activity, they enjoyed the natural scenery on the islands and learn more about the protection of white dolphins, branchiostomas, and egrets, etc.

According to reports, Xiamen is expected to integrate tourism industries on and off Xiamen Island. This will enable tourists to visit several islands in one day and bring more tourists to scenic spots located off the main island, which will then help boost the tourism industry in the city and explore tourism resources on the uninhabited islands.
