Walking into Xiaoyan Village in the Ninghe District, tourists can see vinyl houses on both sides of the roads. Greenhouse vegetable planting is a growth direction for the village and the main income of the villagers.

Modernized planting has brought great harvests. Liu Junshi, party branch secretary of Xiaoyan Village, said the greenhouse area covers more than 700,000 square meters and has a more than 200,000 square meters' 3D planting and feeding zone.

The modern village features a greenhouse vegetable area, fruit zones, a water surface plant breeding section, chicken raising cottages, a pig feeding area and a forest economy; the vegetable zone has been listed as one of the standard vegetable yards in China by the Ministry of Agriculture.
