Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province, is famous for its springs such as Baotu Spring, Black Tiger Spring and Pearl Spring. The spring water has become an indispensable part of local people's life.
In any season of the year, people carry buckets and gather at the springs to fetch water. Some swimming enthusiasts even enjoy the winter in the water.
