“Jining’s emphasis on nurturing talents and the city’s platforms for research and development convinced us that talent-training courses have great potential here,” said Cheng Xing, senior manager of Oracle (China) Software Systems Co Ltd.

The city has built 17 public platforms, such as the Talents Alliance and University Park, to support enterprises with talented professionals.

Public platforms like the software park and the cloud-calculation center were also built to further attract investors.

Additionally, the city built a gym, hospital, library, science museum and international school within the Jining high-tech industrial development zone to create a sound living environment for international talents.

Currently, there are around 400 foreigners working in the city.
