Visitors view oil paintings at the exhibition in Qingdao.

An oil painting exhibition featuring a retrospective on the development of oil painting over the past five years in Qingdao kicked off at Qingdao Municipal Museum on June 28.

More than 180 oil paintings stood out, and 45 works were awarded “excellent work”.

A collection of oil paintings from the past five years in Qingdao was issued at the opening ceremony.

The exhibition aims to provide a platform for the artists to show their talent and demonstrate the progress of oil painting in Qingdao. It will be conducive to academic exchanges in oil painting and art development in Qingdao.

The exhibition will continue until July 3.
