The yacht named Luna Rossa from Italy was crowned Sunday in the second leg of the ISAF Extreme Sailing Series in Qingdao, east China's Shandong Province.
The Emirates Team from New Zealand took the second place, and the Groupe Edmond De Rothschild of France grabbed the bronze medal.
The Qingdao leg of the ISAF Extreme Sailing Series featured 11 yatchs competing in 29 rounds in five days.
The Extreme Sailing Series take place in nine cities this year, with the next stop heading to Istanbul from May 27-29.
The ISAF Extreme Sailing Series, launched in 2007, was one of the top four events of the ISAF.
