On August 19, 2010 China peace culture tourism contest& Mount Taishan tourist product collection activity will start.

With the theme of “ Peace is Luck”, the contest will collect tourist products with the theme of Mount Taishan peace culture within the whole country to improve the brand competitiveness and influence. The contest, lasting until October, will set 5 gold awards, each with 10,000 yuan prize, 10 silver awards, each with 5000 yuan prize and 20 bronze awards, each with 3000 yuan prize.

On August 19, the starting ceremony of the contest, with the theme of “Mount Taishan•Peace•Luck” will be held at Prince Gong’s Mansion in Beijing.

During the latter part of September, promotion activities with the theme of “Friendly Shandong, Passing Peace” will be held at the Spring City Square of Jinan. During the promotion, the propaganda video of Tai’an and Mount Taishan will be played to showcase the unique tourist resources there. Besides, tourist products of Mount Taishan and Tai’an feature will be given out.

In the middle part of October, the finalist works will be exhibited in the old County Yamen tourist culture street of Tai’an. After citizen and tourists’ internet vote and cell phone message vote and expert review, the award cremony will be held in the latter part of October. Besides, the inscription ceremony of “ Peace is Luck” and bless peace activity will be held in Bixia Temple, Mount Taishan.
