In order to help employees return to the construction site immediately after the opening of Saudi visas and flights, SEPCO Electric Power Construction Corporation planned ahead of time.

It mobilized staff members to vaccinate, prepare visa applications materials, maintain connections with the Saudi Embassy in China and the company also kept regular tabs on flight information.

At present, the staff rotation for the project is proceeding in an orderly manner according to the plan and 71 employees have returned to China for rest and rehabilitation.

None of the personnel tested positive for nucleic acid and antibodies, before and after returning to China.

There have been no confirmed coronavirus cases among POWERCHINA staff since the outbreak of the pandemic earlier in the year and the company's strict adherence to epidemic prevention and control measures had won it praise from the project’s owners.

Under normalized epidemic prevention conditions, the various work in the project is now progressing smoothly in Saudi Arabia and the overall situation is stable and improving.
