The Qollpana EPC project, undertaken by Zhongnan Engineering Corporation, POWERCHINA, was formally completed and handed over on January 2nd, 2014.
Mr.Morales, the president of Bolivia, and his delegation came to the completion and handover ceremony and visited the mast towers and control center afterwards.
The Qollpana project is the first wind power project in Bolivia. The project is a key demonstration energy project and is known as the "Flower of Wind Power of Bolivia". The total installed capacity of the project is 3MW (2×1.5MW).
