Beijing-Shanghai High Speed Rail, China

Beijing-Shanghai High Speed Rail is a 1,318-kilometres long high-speed railway connecting the two major economic zones in China (the Bohai Sea Rim and the Yangtze River Delta). It is the world's longest high-speed line ever constructed in a single phase.

POWERCHINA Involvement: POWERCHINA was responsible for the Package No.3 of the project, which covers 226 km railway construction in Shandong and Jiangsu provinces. SINOHYDRO paved 94 km railway bed, built 99 bridges (total length 161 km), made10 tunnels (total length10 km) and constructed 4 stations. Contractual amount: RMB 14.2 billion.
