According to the Kunming railway bureau, the Kunming-Lijiang culture train has been operating for one month as of Oct 11.

In that month, altogether 87,745 passengers with an average of 3,000 daily riders were served by the Kunming-Lijiang culture train. The train started the operation on Sept 12. Diversity theme programs of Dali and Lijiang tourism are played on the train. Special training sessions of Naxi and Bai ethnic local languages are also available on the train. Passengers can connect to the Internet with the free Wi-Fi and wired networks on the train.

The culture train has served 15.5 percent of passengers of the Guangtong-Lijiang routes in that month. Especially during the Golden Week holiday, the passengers traveling on the Guangtong-Lijiang routes increased 2.9 percent.
