China Eastern Airlines has opened new non-stop flights between Lijiang and Hangzhou, South China’s Zhejiang province. The flights will leave everyday starting April 21, except April 22 and 24. A new route from Lijiang to Nanchang, capital of Jiangxi province, will be scheduled every Tuesday and Saturday from April 25. The new routes will make it easier for tourists to travel in Lijiang without stopping over at Kunming.
To date, China Eastern Airlines has non-stop flights to Beijing, Shanghai, Xi’an, Chengdu, Hefei, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hong Kong. It will add non-stop flights to Xiamen, Taiyuan, Nanjing, Zhengzhou, Wuhan, Hangzhou and Nanchang before July this year. In addition, a flight between Lijiang and Lhasa in Tibet is under negotiation and is expected to be put into operation this year.
