The fifth lottery for the Lijiang old town maintenance fee was held in the government's conference center in the ancient city district on Jan 6.

In the presence of officials, celebrities and representatives from news media, scenic spots, travel agencies and hotels, as well as residents of the old town, 10 lucky men were chosen from 2.21 million valid bills paid between June 1 and Dec 31, 2013. Each was awarded a prize of 200,000 yuan ($33,110).

The Lijiang old town protection administration has successfully held four sessions of the lottery with 40 winners awarded since it began in 2010.

A computer lottery system is used according to the principles of openness and fairness. The winning numbers will be published in the official website of Lijiang old town (http://www.ljgc.gov.cn), Yunnan news, Lijiang Daily news, Lijiang TV station and other media.

Tourists who hold a bill should contact the old town administration to accept the award as soon as possible. The raffle is fully notarized by the notary office of Lijiang town, Yunnan province.
