A 10,000-person signature campaign was held Monday to celebrate China’s eighth Civic Morality Day on Yuhe Square, the old town of Lijiang, in Southwest China’s Yunnan province.
The Lijiang government promoted civil ethics and environment protection during the campaign from Sept 19 to Sept 21.
More than 300 volunteers visited the old town of Lijiang following the signature campaign to promote civilized behavior, cleaning graffiti from walls and picking up trash along roadsides.
