Shenyang Jinbei Johnson Controls Automotive Interior Parts Co (hereinafter referred to as Jinbei Johnson) is a joint venture jointly invested by Jinbei Automobile Co and Johnson Controls International, a Fortune 500 company. It is mainly engaged in automotive seating and interiors manufacturing, sales and after-sales service. Shenyang Jinbei Johnson Controls Automotive Interior Parts Co was established in March 2000 with company registered capital of $8.07 million and total investment of $20.08 million. Each party’s investment ratio was 50 percent.

Jinbei Johnson now has more than 1,600 employees, mainly engaging in manufacturing Sea Lions and Grace series seats for Shenyang Brilliance Jinbei Automobile Co; manufacturing Brilliance series seat for Brilliance China Automotive company; manufacturing BMW 3 Series and 5 Series door sheets, instrument panels and other interior products for BMW Brilliance Automotive; manufacturing truck series seat for Shenyang Jinbei Vehicle Manufacturing Co; and manufacturing Mektec series SUV seats for Liaoning Shuguang Automotive Group Co.

Jinbei Johnson is the first to pass the QS9000 quality system certification among automobile parts enterprises in China, and in 2004 it passed the TS 16949 standard certification. While creating product value, it is also committed to creating a safe and comfortable working environment for staff. The company passed the ISO14001 (Environmental Management System) and OHSAS18001 (Occupational Health and Safety System) certification in late 2007.

It fully implements the Johnson business operation system BOS, Johnson manufacturing systems JCMS and ERP management system to improve enterprise operation and management level.

For many years, the company continuously won the Excellence Supplier Award from Brilliance Jinbei, Brilliance China, BMW Brilliance and Jinbei vehicle company. In 2012, it achieved 910 million yuan ($147.89 million) in production value and sales revenue of 940 million yuan, as well as production of 284,000 sets of seats and interior products. After completion of the new plant project, Jinbei Johnson will reach an annual capacity of 550,000 sets of automobile seats and 300,000 sets of door sheets and instrument panels. Its sales revenue is expected to reach 2 billion yuan in 2015, and total profit and tax will be 200 million yuan.
