A medical health IoT conference themed "IoT Healthcare Along ‘Belt and Road'" as part of the World Internet of Things (IoT) Expo 2019 was held in Wuxi on Sept 7.
Liu Xia, vice mayor of Wuxi city, and Tan Ying, commissioner of the Jiangsu Commission of Health, attended the opening ceremony.
After the launching of a cancer prevention project, Wang Chen, director of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, gave a speech where he discussed how to boost the development of medical alliances on treatment of respiratory diseases by combining AI with the internet. Li Zhaoshen, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, delivered a speech on how to improve early diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer relying on AI, big data and the internet.
