An international dance drama named Search -- featuring a blend of Chinese and Canadian culture -- debuted to acclaim at the Wuxi Great Hall of the People, in East China's Jiangsu province, on Aug 15.
The drama tells the story of the lost daughter of a Wuxi painter who comes back from Canada and accidentally finds her real family.
The producers said the integration of various kinds of Chinese cultural elements helps to enhance the drama's oriental beauty, including art installations featuring Jiangnan-style water towns.

As a high-quality art work guided by leading Canadian choreographer Peter Quanz, the dance drama explores the friendly relationships between the countries – employing the powerful body language performed by both Chinese and Canadian dancers.
The dance drama will also be staged in the US and Canada in October.
