Wuxi metro app Ma Shang Xing announced that it will be linking up with Shanghai metro app Metro Daduhui on Aug 7. Passengers can use any one of the two apps to take the metro in Wuxi or Shanghai.
At present, the app can only be used in Suzhou, Jiangsu province, but it is expected to begin operating in other cities along the Yangtze River Delta in the near future.
Since May 17, 2017, Wuxi Metro has been operating a mobile app named Ma Shang Xing, allowing people in the city to take the metro by simply scanning the QR code in the app when entering the station.
This March, several new functions were added following tests and upgrading, making it possible for people to use the app to take buses in the city.
Note:
1. Passengers who use the QR code on Ma Shang Xing to board the Shanghai metro must bind their bank card for payment in advance.
2. If you encounter any problems, please call one of these hotlines for further information. (For metro services: +86-510-81966666, for buses: +86-510-82588088)
3. The app also offers other convenient services, including umbrella rental, luggage delivery and lost and found information.
