The overseas portion of the 2019 Wuxi Technological Innovation & Entrepreneurship competition was held in Los Angeles, USA on July 24.
Sixty projects focusing on the internet, advanced manufacturing, new materials, biomedicine, new energy and environmental protection were chosen to compete in the final.
Online road shows were carried out for some projects. Participants communicated and exchanged ideas on technological innovation together during the competition.

Five projects won to take part in the final, including "Deepscape", "MagicWeaver", "Hysocean", "Quick Flash" and "APEMESH".
The competition will award 43 projects with 1.75 million yuan ($254,193.4) in total. A business fund of 100 million yuan has been set to give financial support to qualified projects.
In recent years, Wuxi has been supporting technological innovation and entrepreneurship in new industries and attracting talents from home and abroad.
