A photo exhibition entitled "Light and Shadow of the Grand Canal" opened at the Wuxi Museum on June 28, displaying 120 photographs collected from January to May this year.
A total of 335 photographers from inside and outside Jiangsu province submitted 2,224 works during the four month period, 40 of which were awarded for their creativity and artistic expression.
The works are unique in their shooting methods and angles. They were taken on the ground, in water and even from the air. Each photo reflects the beauty of the Wuxi section of the Grand Canal and the life of people living along it.
The photo exhibition will be on tour in several tourist attractions and sub-districts, spreading the beauty of Wuxi to as many people as possible.
