More than 30 Fortune 500 companies will attend the 2019 World Internet of Things Exposition, which will be held in Wuxi, Jiangsu province from Sept 7 to 10, the expo organizer said on Tuesday.
As one of the world's largest IoT expositions, this year's expo is expected to attract hundreds of world-leading enterprises, universities and associations, including the International Telecommunication Union, Microsoft and Huawei Technologies Co, said Li Yutao, an official at the Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu.
The expo is co-organized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology — the nation's top industry regulator — and the Jiangsu provincial government.
According to the expo organizer committee, renowned experts, scholars and entrepreneurs from the internet of things sector will also attend the event to exchange views on the industry's development and how to deepen cooperation in the sector.
The 60,000-square-meter exposition will have the most advanced technologies and products on display, demonstrating how IoT technologies will be applied in education, urban governance, transportation management, automobiles and other sectors, the committee said.
