Situated in the West Flanders of Belgium, Kortrijk has an area of 80 square kilometers and a population of nearly 100,000. Due to its vicinity to the Belgian and French border, it enjoys convenient traffic. It is the headquarters of some large companies such as Bekaert, Barco and Van de Viele.
