The Yangtze River Delta Research Center of the Beijing Graphene Institute was opened in Wuxi's Huishan district on May 30 during the 2019 China Graphene Industry Development Forum.
Sponsored by the Beijing Graphene Institute and the National Graphene Products Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, the Yangtze River Delta Research Center aims to promote the research and application of graphene, develop new inspection techniques and work on graphene testing, certification and standards.
Over 350 guests took part in the forum, including experts, representatives from enterprises, and researchers on graphene applications. They shared ideas on the latest achievements and standards in grapheme production and application.
Huishan district is known as a regional industrial cluster integrating graphene production, research and development, and testing. The first national graphene quality inspection center was established there last year.
Sun Xiaowei, director of the National Graphene Products Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, said that research resources for graphene development are accumulating in Wuxi, which can help realize seamless connection in the graphene industry from basic research to industrialization.
