Residents and enterprises in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, are now able to enjoy online government services through their computers and phones, Wuxi Daily reported on April 11.
The city began developing an online system for government services in October, 2017 and finally finished in February this year. Wuxi, Jiangyin, Yixing and the city's other five districts have all been incorporated into the Jiangsu Provincial Government Service website (www.jszwfw.gov.cn) and related app.
The website has been upgraded five times, and its eight modules can now provide various services, including approvals, real estate registration and integration, and other public conveniences.
The real estate registration and integration services have proven particularly popular since they were implemented at the end of last year. They allow the registration process to be completed in a single visit rather than several.
Tourists can look at the number of visitors at each scenic spot in real time as well as the average amount of tourists in each scenic spot on any given day of the week.
According to the government, more features will be added in the future, and 24-hour services will be available at government service offices through the use of smart integrated machines.
