A news conference has announced that the annual Beverly Wuxi Marathon will kick off on March 24.
With just a few days to go, this year‘s marathon will start at the usual time of 7:30 at the Wuxi New Stadium. Around 33,000 runners will take part in the race, including 20,000 running the full marathon (42.2 km), 10,000 in the half-marathon (21.1 km), and 3,000 braving the mini marathon (5 km). Compared with last year, 3,000 more places are being provided to half-marathon runners.

Among them, there are 1,352 foreign runners from 49 countries and regions all over the world. This year marks the sixth time Wuxi has hosted an international marathon, and it is expected to be a success.
Well-known for its picturesque sites, this year's Wuxi Marathon upgraded its route with no return points and offered runners the city's top early spring views such as the Turtle Head Isle Scenic Spot, Jiangnan University, Lihu Lake Scenic Spot and Xuntang Ancient Town.
The Wuxi Marathon is highly praised for its thoughtful service. Nineteen depots will be ready for full marathon participants and runners can also check the best route to receive their race goods and materials, and find the starting points via the official WeChat program.
