From March 15 to May 1, Wuxi's CCTV Wuxi Movie/TV Base will host a cultural festival based on classics from the Three Kingdoms (220-280) period of ancient China.
The festival will present the unique culture of one of Chinese history's most dramatic periods through a series of activities that will teach visitors about traditional clothes, dancing and the era's etiquette.

The main event of the festival will feature a fantastic audio-visual performance of the giant royal wedding ceremony of Liu Bei, a powerful warlord and the founding emperor of the Shu Kingdom during the Three Kingdoms Period (220-280).
Wuxi Movie base is also adopting both online and offline methods to stage a poetry contest and will offer awards to lucky participants, making the festival more interactive.
Visitors can try on traditional clothing, learn ancient dancing and get to grips with the era's unique rites during the festival.
With the coming of spring, Wuxi Movie Base will enchant visitors with beautiful cherry blossoms in full bloom.
