Tang Jiangpeng, principal of Xishan Senior Middle School in Wuxi city and a CPPCC member, gave a class on the two sessions to some of his students on Feb 27.
Tang shared his experiences as a member of the national committee of the CPPCC in the past year, and explained the relationship between his work and national democratic politics. "The real case can help students have a better understanding of the system of socialism with Chinese characteristics and build up their confidence on the path," said Tang.

In the class, students made suggestions to reduce their course load. In response, Tang shared one of his proposals for the two sessions meant to deepen the reform of the examination and evaluation system. "I hope the examinations can attach more importance to students' abilities to solve problems in certain circumstances," Tang explained.
Tang also expressed his appreciation of students' suggestions regarding strengthening education on national defense and waste sorting. He also taught the students how to write a qualified proposal and said that he would take some of them to the two sessions.

The National People's Congress, the country's top legislature, and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the top political advisory body, convene every March for meetings in Beijing.
This year's annual session of the CPPCC National Committee opened on Sunday. The annual NPC session opens on Tuesday.
