Every February and March is a great time to admire plum blossoms in Wuxi city, East China's Jiangsu province.
Wuxi residents are used to visiting the city's Plum Garden to enjoy the beautiful and fragrant flowers of late winter.
Five kilometers from downtown Wuxi, the Plum Garden has been renowned since it opened in 1912 as one of the best places south of the Yangtze River to admire plum blossoms. It is home to nearly 10,000 plum trees of around 400 varieties, and covers eight hectares.
According to experts, this year's mid-February is the best time to admire plum blossoms, when over 30 percent of blossoms have fully opened.

In order to attract more visitors, the garden is holding its annual plum blossom festival from Feb 14. The 50-day event will feature a series of plum-themed exhibitions and cultural exchange activities.
The annual tea party during the plum blossom festival will offer a variety of tea ceremonies, giving visitors the chance to learn about the different profound tea cultures.
