The top 10 innovative and pragmatic proposals and suggestions of last year's annual two sessions were recently chosen by local residents.
The Wuxi government has stepped up efforts to carry out institutional reform and promote reproducible experiences to improve government services over the past year.
The problem of difficult enforcement has long been one of the top concerns among the deputies to the Wuxi People's Congress, and many of them suggested that personal information of people subject to judgment execution should be included in the unified management platform of the Wuxi Intermediate People's Court and unveiled to the public.
In July 2018, Wuxi launched an intelligent execution system, becoming the first city to adopt big data technology in court judgment enforcement. The system identifies assets, fund flows and travel information of people subject to enforcement.
Education was another hot issue for deputies. Wuxi's education authority has striven to regulate and create a white list of off-campus training institutions.
According to the education bureau, 1,158 such institutions have been regulated. The bureau will further intensify management on the institutions on the white list and also organize experts for their guidance and evaluation. Any with violations will be handled in accordance with the law and placed on a black list.
In addition, to enhance the efficiency of shared bicycles, the city's transportation, urban management and public security departments worked together to determine their number.
"The selection of innovative and pragmatic government measures was the first of its kind in Wuxi. We now put more emphasis on the public sense of gain than deputies' satisfaction to assess government measures," said a person in charge of the government office.
Wuxi city will continue to hold such selections to strengthen the implementation of deputies' proposals and suggestions.
