Wuxi city in East China's Jiangsu province applied online platforms and smart technologies during the third session of the 14th Wuxi Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), which kicked off on Jan 21.
By entering the online system with a verification code or password, representatives can put forward their proposals online with their phones.
Zhu Jinshan, one of the Wuxi Municipal committee CPPCC members, uploaded two proposals to the system in just minutes, saying he found it a very convenient tool to communicate with other committee members and give his suggestions.
Representatives can not only sign up for attendance on the system, they can also collect social public feelings, deliver questionnaires, read policy files and organize future group activities.
Documents, notifications and information files of this year's political sessions will also be available on the system. Representatives can express their opinions and suggestions and get the latest news from the conferences online.
