Doushan village, in Xibei town in Wuxi's Xishan district, is named after Doushan Mountain.
The village was listed among China's 150 most beautiful leisure villages by the Ministry of Agricultural and Rural Affairs in October 2018, the only one in Wuxi to be named that year.

When the weather is clear in autumn, a lot of photographers visit the area to capture the pleasant views.
Doushan Temple, the second largest of its kind in the Wuxi area after Mashan's Xiangfu Temple, enjoys a distinctive environment. Being surrounded by bamboo forest, the temple also offers a good view of the tea fields in the village.

In addition to the splendid natural landscapes in the area, Doushan village has devoted efforts to develop rural sightseeing and tourism.
Several ecological parks have opened so people can enjoy the pleasure of picking fresh fruit and vegetables.
Doushan Ecological Agricultural Park, a provincial-level agricultural park, covers 21.11 square kilometers. Apart from common crops such as paddy and soybean, the park also cultivates plants such as tea, peach, grape, strawberry, watermelon and moso bamboo. Green tea grown in the agricultural park has won many provincial and national prizes.

Yang's Strawberry Ecological Park, located near Doushan Agriculture Ecological Park, has been running for many years. Set on more than 10 hectares, the park has several strawberry varieties such as red cheeks, originally from Japan, and pineberry, a rare local variety.
Various activities such as catching crayfish, barbecues and cycling are also available for people, especially those travelling with their children to enjoy the delights of the countryside.
