Plum season comes to Wuxi

If you love plum blossoms, the winter season is the best time to check out the famed plum boulevard at the CCTV-featured Wuxi Plum Garden.

With the first blossoms beginning to bloom, the air in the garden is sweet and fragrant.

Built in 1912 on a mountain, the appropriately named Meiyuan (Plum Garden) is filled with more than 4,000 plum trees planted to enhance the mountain's beauty. A total of 40 species can be found on the mountain, forming Wuxi's garden city.
