China Sensor Network International Innovation Park, also known as the Micro-Nano Park, has earned wide recognition after ten years of vigorous development in Wuxi Xinwu district.
It is now the first national park that specializes in intelligent sensors, incubates the internet of things (IoT), and experiments with cultivating regional brands.
By refining the incubation chain for technology enterprises and providing extensive and intensive service, Micro-Nano Park has achieved satisfactory results in its endeavor to develop a comprehensive industrial chain. So far, it has clustered more than 500 taxable enterprises and reached a total output value of 6.5 billion yuan ($943 million), with 125 patents obtained per thousand people.
"This year one of our enterprises introduced a new generation of LIDAR for auto-drive, the second in the world and the first in China, which had attracted investment from major cities. After serious consideration, it decided to place its production line in Micro-Nano Park, largely owing to the park’s ability to satisfy the multi-function space demand for a certain period," said Yang Yuanbin, general manager of Wuxi Micro-Nano Industrial Development Ltd. Co.
The multi-function space construction has always been a highlight of Micro-Nano Park. It facilitates handling of official business, conducting research experiments, producing in large quantities and many other tasks. It thus realizes full coverage in every development procedure and industry sector.
It was further introduced that the launch of Micro-Nano Park was sponsored by more than 20 IoT-related alliances. It sought to establish a cooperative and effective industrial eco-system in which essential innovation factors freely flow and all the enterprises can develop in common.
Moreover, Micro-Nano Park has hosted the International Summit of Sensor Technology and Industrial Development of the World Internet of Things Exposition in 2016 and 2017, sharing the latest global achievements in that industry.
Micro-Nano Park will continue its efforts to refine the comprehensive industrial chain based on the existing IoT industry. Its cooperation with the China R&D Center for Internet of Things has yielded fruitful results, which include the incubation of more than 40 enterprises and total sales income of 6.5 billion yuan. It is expected that this cooperation will incubate100 IoT enterprises in total by 2022.
In addition, the China R&D Center for Internet of Things will seek to set up a national center in Micro-Nano Park through collaboration with more than ten leading enterprises.
