Runners from all over the world will be competing in the 2018 Beverly Round Lihu Lake International Half Marathon in Binhu district, Wuxi, Jiangsu province on Nov 4. The T-shirt and medal designs for the half marathon were revealed at a news conference on Oct 26.
The race is being hosted by the Chinese Athletic Association and the local government of Binhu district. The 21.1 km course will start from the Wuxi Sports Center at 8:00 am, with runners making their way around the ever-popular Lihu lake in the beautiful season of Autumn before making their way to the finish line at Jiangnan University.
The marathon committee has recruited 1,210 volunteers and cheerleaders, and acquired sufficient medical treatment for every runner. Medals and towels have also been prepared for those who take part in the mini marathon.
Based on the success of the last two years, over 10,000 people registered in this year' marathon within just 4 hours and 13 minutes.
