An experience store jointly launched by Chinese e-commerce giant JD and Wuxi-based Chinese garment maker Hodo Group opened in the Livat Shopping Plaza in Wuxi, Jiangsu province in October.
The store, which is well arranged and equipped with cutting-edge technologies, offers customers new and fashionable lifestyle experience.
The Hodo products are arranged under four themes targeting customers with different fashion tastes, such as an ethnic style, pop style and one with nostalgic elements. Other JD commodities can also be found in the store.
Another highlight of the store is JD's high-end retail technologies such as Mirror+, electronic price tags, virtual-shelves, and intelligent cameras.
Customers can enjoy intelligent collocation and shopping with the help of the Mirror+ system, which gives them more information about the products, including the origin, textile, user's comment and available discounts.
Thanks to VR technology, shoppers can figure out the best scenario when they try on clothes in the store as VR devices display different scenarios according to the style of clothes selected.
They can also upload try-on feedback on social media platforms.
The "JD Smart Eyes" and the intelligent cameras are big data-based technologies that help enterprises find their target customers more precisely and interact with them effectively.
Hodo plans to expand the mode to more stores by taking advantage of JD's technological strength and business network.
