Q1: Is it your first time to China?
A: I've been to China two years ago when I claimed gold in men's team sabre in 2016 Asian Fencing Championships, which was held in Wuxi. Wuxi is a lucky place for me.
Q2: How do you feel about Wuxi?
A: Sometimes competing in foreign countries can be quiet inconvenient, but Wuxi has many Korean restaurants, so I like it a lot.
Q3: How do you feel about yesterday's competition after winning the men's sabre?
A: I didn't set my eyes on the gold, but I did my best. I was fortunate enough to claim championships in the end.
Q4: How do you prepare for this year's championships? Was there any special trainings?
A: I have been preparing for the game and The Asian Olympic Games for a while. Even when I was tired, I was persistent in reaching my goals.
Q5: Will you go for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo?
A: I am 36 years old now, so I'm not certain. I'll try my best and participate in the Olympics. But if I'm not in good health, I'll be a trainer and guide younger athletes.
Q6: What tips would you like to give for those who go out for fencing?
A: Fencing is a tactical game. If someone wants to become a fencer, he should watch the fencing videos and learn the necessary strategies.
