With a perfect performance in the group stage, Chinese foil fencer Wu Bing moved into the round of 64 on the third day of the 2018 World Fencing Championships in Wuxi,East China's Jiangsu province.
Wu sealed victories over all his six contestants in the group, securing qualification to the next round. Along with Wu, two other Chinese fencers, Shi Jialuo and Huang Mengkai, also secured qualification and shall compete in the round of 64 of the men's individual foil on July 24.
As for the women's individual sabre, all the Chinese entrants, Yang Hengyu, Qian Jiarui, Shao Yaoqi and Ma Yingjia, advanced to the round of 64.
