A Sino-Canadian science and technology-focused business seminar was held in Wuxi Hi-tech district on May 19.
Sponsored by the Spark scientific innovation center, the economic and development bureau of Durham, Ontario, and the Sino-Canada Innovation Enterprise, the seminar acted as a platform for mutual investment and open communication.
Nine Canadian projects came to Wuxi and three were introduced during the seminar, including a proprietary integrated pipette system and WeTraq, a real-time tracking device using internet of things technologies.

Wuxi Hi-tech district government partnered with the Spark Centre to establish an innovation platform in Wuxi aimed at fostering more cooperative exchanges in trade and economic affairs.
"Wuxi focuses on fostering enduring and stable partnerships of mutually beneficial economic cooperation and trade with partners including Mexico, Ulsan in South Korea, and Toronto, Canada," said Ye Zheng, deputy director of Wuxi municipal foreign affairs.
"We hope the seminar will increase awareness of Canada’s scientific innovations and further develop Wuxi's domestic and foreign markets," Ye added.
