Marking the official "end" of the Chinese New Year holiday, the Lantern Festival falls on the 15th day of the first month of the lunar calendar. Let's check out what's going on in Wuxi for the festival!
Huishan Ancient Town (惠山古镇)
Nightly from February 24 - March 4, 5pm - 10pm
Complete with traditional lantern displays, lion dances, ancient costume shows, themed parades and more, Huishan Ancient Town's Lantern Festival celebrations are not to be missed.
Jichang Garden (寄畅园)
Traditional Kunqu Opera Show
Shows are at 7pm and 8pm every evening.
Even if you can't understand Chinese, traditional Kunqu performances are captivating, with amazing costumes and makeup.
Taibo Temple Fair (泰伯庙会)
February 23 - March 2
