Li emphasized on the sustained quality growth of Wuxi. According to the 19th CPC National Congress, the principal contradiction in the new era of China is the contradiction between unbalanced and inadequate development and the people’s ever-growing needs for a better life. Only sustained quality growth in the city can be the answer.
The Party secretary also highlighted the importance of upgrading industry, protecting the environment, continuing reforms, and improving the livelihood of citizens.
